What Each Measurement Means
ResolutionThe pixel dimensions your browser negotiated. This is often lower than the camera's maximum, because applications request a mode rather than always asking for the best available.
Frame rateCounted live. A camera rated at 30fps frequently delivers less in dim light, because the sensor holds the shutter open longer per frame to gather enough light.
Aspect ratioUsually 16:9 on modern cameras and 4:3 on older ones. Video call platforms crop to their own tile shape, so a 4:3 camera loses more of the frame than a 16:9 one.
Bandwidth estimateA rough indication of the bitrate this mode would need at around 0.07 bits per pixel. Useful for judging whether your connection can carry the resolution you have selected.
